Ravens

Welcome to Ravens!

My name is Miss Law and I am the class teacher of the Ravens. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Correy and Mrs Waugh. On a Thursday afternoon, the class will be taught Yoga and R.E. by Mr Lancaster.

Homework will be set on Friday and we expect it to be handed in on Wednesday, which gives the children plenty of time to complete it. Children will be working on their mathematics skills as well as their spellngs.

P.E. will be on a Monday afternoon with Miss Law and on a Thursday with a yoga specialist. Please ensure children have their P.E. kits (including their Knowle Primary house t-shirt) in school.

Our topic this term is Eden Adventure, where we will be learning all about different biomes around the globe. The pupils will be learning about climate and concentrating on the Amazon rainforest. This was reinforced by our trip to the Eden Project on 8th February.

If you have any questions please come and see me before or after school and I will be more than happy to help!

Thank you

Star of the week

This week's star of the week is Charlie. Charlie has made great improvements with his maths and has just written his best story of Year 6 so far! He has also dramatically improved his handwriting. Keep it up Charlie!

Mount Batten

We have been fortunate enough to work with the team from Mount Batten to give the pupils the opportunity to try new activities and build their collaborative skills. The pupils have taken part in archery, den building and orienteering and have had a great time!
