Ravens

Welcome to Ravens!

My name is Miss Law and I am the class teacher of the Ravens. Our teaching assistant from Monday - Thursday is Mrs Holt and on a Friday is Mrs Champion. On a Thursday afternoon, the class will be taught P.E. by Go Active and R.E. by Mr Lancaster.

Homework will be set on Friday and we expect it to be handed in on Wednesday, which gives the children plenty of time to complete it. Children will be working on their times tables by completing their passport sheets and have a piece of SPaG work.

P.E. will be on a Monday afternoon with Miss Law and on a Thursday with the Go Active team. Please ensure children have their P.E. kits (including their Knowle Primary house t-shirt) in school.

Our topic this term is War Child, where we will be learning all about World War Two. The pupils will be learning and writing stories about Dunkirk and evacuees and will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of children's lives during the war. The pupils are very enthusiastic about this topic and I know that many have already come home wanting to conduct further research!

Ravens have had a super start to the Autumn term. The pupils are getting to know one another and have already shown some of the superb knowledge and skills that they possess.

If you have any questions please come and see me before or after school and I will be more than happy to help!

Thank you

Star of the week

This week's star of the week is Izzy. As a member of parliament, Izzy is a very responsible girl who goes above and beyond in her duties. Izzy is reflective and friendly in class and is very popular amongst the other pupils. Well done Izzy!

Mount Batten

We have been fortunate enough to work with the team from Mount Batten to give the pupils the opportunity to try new activities and build their collaborative skills. The pupils have taken part in archery, den building and orienteering and have had a great time!
