I would suggest that you follow this link to review set 1 sounds as your child will know these really well now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see).   Then, watch the set 2 sound lessons at 10am and 10:15.

Note; If you ask your child to read the set 2 sounds in your home learning pack and they know the set 2 sounds really well, move onto watching set 3.

Here is today's challenge 1;

Challenge 2;

Storytelling;

Today you will watch the story Giraffes Can't Dance

Draw and label your favourite animal from the story.

Challenge; Can you research some facts about your animal? Write some sentences to share these facts with your family.

Maths:

You need to make 2 sets of 10 cards. If you have post it notes, they will be great. If not, cut out some paper.

Here is what you need;

On one set of cards write the numbers 1-10.

On the next set, draw pictures or dots to represent numbers 1-10.

 Here are examples pictures below;

When you have both sets, place them facedown. Your child must find pairs of numbers that total 10.  It may help if they have resources to help them.  If they have a set of 10 objects, then they can count out the amount on the card and then see how many more they need to make 10.
