Good morning Woodpeckers,
Another glorious day in paradise!
How are you getting on with the dinosaur tasks? I like them so much I might have to do all of the work myself!!
Mr B
Tuesday 21st April
English: Today you are going to watch the following video and find out what a ‘Palaeontologist’ does. Then write a definition in your book. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dktnOPfE7Dc
After watching it, pick a dinosaur of your own, and do some research about it. Try and find 5-10 facts about a specific species of dinosaur. E.g. Tyrannosaurus Rex
Maths: Today you will be rounding numbers to the nearest 10,100 and 1000. Watch the video as a recap and then try to work your way through the mild, spicy and hot activities. Remember to write the answers in your maths book. The work for today is in the document right at the bottom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnJw2wq930U
In the top corner of your rapid recall whiteboard, you will have a space to write your number. Range 10-20: 19 Range 30-60 : 55 Range 350-450 : 444 Range 30-99 : 94
Topic: Go on a 360o dinosaur fossil-hunting adventure: (Use the button on the video and you can look all around you! WOW!) Who is Mary Anning? What are the two best tools to find fossils? https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/360-fossil-hunting-adventure.html
Reading: Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record.
