Good morning ladies, gentlemen and Tinkerbell the tiny dog!
I hope you are all having a great week. I have loved thinking of the different activities for our 'Dinosaur' themed week. I hope you have been enjoying them too.
If you want to do any extra research, activities or craft yourself, then feel free - and let me see!
Read the poem attached (below) and see if you can write your own version. Do it in the same style. You can use parts of the sentences and change words to make it your own if you need to. Remember to send them across to me when you have finished!
Today you will be understanding place value of numbers up to 100,000. Watch the videos below as a recap and then have a go at the mild, spicy and hot activities (at the bottom of this page now - sorry! Missed it when I was uploading everything!!) :)
In the top corner of your rapid recall whiteboard, you will have a space to write your number.
Range 10-20: 17
Range 30-60 : 37
Range 350-450 : 357
Range 30-99 : 37
Take this quiz and find out what kind of dinosaur you are – let me know when you find out! :D
Then, would you be a good dinosaur hunter? Take this quiz to find out how you would get on…
Reading: Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record.
Please practise your spellings daily. These lists are on our class page. You can practise the Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and the Year 5/6 spelling lists. You all know which spellings you should be practising anyway.
