Hello everyone! We hope you all enjoyed the new style of home learning yesterday! We are going to continue using websites that people are creating to help you with your home learning. Let me know how you are getting on, as it's a change from last week. Remember to send examples of your work into our class email.
So, here is your home learning for today…
Visit the above website. It guides you through a great lesson all about using apostrophes to combine words. Use your writing books to complete the tasks (if you still have them). Make sure you send your finished work in to our class email.
In Maths today, we will continue to use online learning provider Oak Academy and we will carry on revising non-unit fractions – this time finding fractions of amounts. Watch the video carefully - it is very good revision of using the bar model method. It is something that we have covered but not since before Christmas, so it will be good practice.
This week, our topic is ‘Extreme Earth’. I hope you enjoyed the video yesterday. Today we will look at the next video by Maddie Moate and Greg Foot – as it’s brilliant! The video is all about weather and it explains the water cycle, clouds and lightning. There are more amazing ideas for home projects that you can do. Make sure you are staying active, doing some exercise throughout the day. You can use the Joe Wicks sessions or just enjoy a nice walk with your family.
Don’t forget to do plenty of reading at home. There is some big news coming soon about our reading at Knowle Primary School which will help you to read more at home! It’s very exciting!
