I would suggest that you follow this link to review set 1 sound as your child will know these really well now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see). Then, watch the set 2 sound lessons at 10am and 10:15.
Note; If you ask your child to read the set 2 sounds in your home learning pack and they know the set 2 sounds really well, move onto watching set 3.
Ask your child to read the words below using Fred-talk before blending the words;
'or' shut the door
short
worn
fork
horse
snort
Now ask them to try spelling the words; Say the word slowly and allow them to decode the word independently to spell it. Keep a record of their score to share with us.

Maths:
This week are going to recap our learning of shapes and patterns.
Show your children a range of 2D shapes. If possible, draw them and then cut them out so that you have them as a resource to explore. How are they the same? How are they different?
Get your child to count the sides of the shapes and label each one with how many sides and corners it has. Which has the most? Do any have the same amount of sides? Does this mean they are the same? |
Topic: Pick a challenge from the home learning grid.
