Day 1
Square and Cube numbers.
Today the children are going to be looking at square and cube numbers.
The children have practiced this within school.
Square numbers are numbers that are multiplied by themselves:
2² = 2 X 2 = 4
6² = 6 X 6 = 36
Cubed numbers are numbers that are multiplied by themselves and multiplied again:
4³ = 4 X 4 x 4 = 64
7³ = 7 X 7 X 7 = 343
