Today we are writing a set of instructions about how Lola found the singing orchid in the Amazon rainforest. 

Click on the link below to listen and watch our story 'Animal Explorers'. 

First we need to recap the key features of a set of instructions. Can you remember them without looking at the toolkit below? 

Remind yourselves of the instructions you wrote yesterday (mine are below for you to refer to) can you find all of the key features? 

You're going to be writing your instructions independently, to help you lets discuss the story, and some imperative verbs (bossy words) that we could use in our instructions. 

Look below at the images from the story, what imperative verbs could you use to describe how Lola found the singing orchid?
