WALT edit and improve sentences using adverbs and adjectives.

WILF:

  • Add two adjectives to describe a noun.
  • Add an adverb to describe a verb.
  • Change the verb to something more exciting.
  • Add something else to the sentence, like a simile, or description or another action.

During this lesson we have been thinking about adverbs and adjectives and how to make simple sentences more interesting and exciting to read. Your job now is to use the four WILFs to edit and improve the sentences below. You need to use each four sentences of the WILFS to improve each of the sentences.
