Today we are learning to use words ending in the suffix -est, -er and - ing in our writing.

We are going to be writing postcards today! 
Before we write our postcards, have a look at the slides below about the suffixes ing, er and est. As you look through jot down a few words ending with these suffixes that you could use in your writing.

Activity

Write a postcard from Lola to her Grandpa Reggie, remember to include words ending with the suffix -ing, -er, and -est. To help you with your writing there are suffix word mats saved in the spelling section on the first page of the class web page (just below the online learning section). 

 Look at my example below for some ideas. You will also find resources to print out if needed.
