WALT use past simple tense verbs.

A past simple tense verb shows an action that has taken place in the past.

  • Past tense = It has already happened, it happened in the past.
  • Verb = a doing word or action.

So a past tense verb is an action that has already happened such as I looked, I swam, I wrote and I travelled.
