Video to start off the day
We have reached the end of our Extreme Earth theme and today we are going to be looking at floods. Here are some videos about flooding.
This time imagine you are fish during a flood. You are now able to visit places that are usually land. Write a story about the new places you have been able to visit as a fish during a flood.
Your sentences need to include a capital letter, full stop and finger spaces. Use interesting vocabulary and read your sentences to check they make sense.
Today we are going to recap some learning from this week. Here are some maths challenges for you to complete.
Under the blue and orange question I would like you to write a simple sentence to explain your answer. You could tell your grown up and they could write it down for you.
You could then play these games:

Also don’t forget to access https://play.numbots.com/#/account/school-login-type
I want you to focus on weather – storms or thunder and lightning. Have a go at creating your own piece of art based around this theme.
Here are some ideas:
Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record. New books can be accessed online through this link. You will need to register but it is completely free. https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page/
Keep practising the year 1 Common Exception words. You have these in your packs.
