Good morning everyone,
Last day today! Hope you enjoy it and have a fantastic weekend.
Listen to the Queen’s speech that she gave to everyone living in the UK on VE Day, 75 years on.
What does she say? Why? How?
You are going to write your own speech that you would like to give to everyone in Britain right now. What would you say in yours? Write it out – and if you want, record it on a video and send it to me!!
Today you will be using your knowledge of adding and subtracting decimals to complete decimal sequences. Watch the and then try the questions below. For each sequence, can you write down the next 4 numbers?

To finish off the week, you will be looking at our local area with a focus on beaches. We are incredibly lucky in Devon as we have lots of beaches within a short drive. Look at the link below to find out about some of these beaches. After that, find an image of your favourite Devon beach and produce a detailed sketch.
Reading: Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record.
Please practise your spellings daily. These lists are on our class page. You can practise the Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and the Year 5/6 spelling lists. You all know which spellings you should be practising anyway.
