Maths

In the session today, we are learning to read, write and recognise all metric measures for length, mass and capacity. However, before you start, you need to click on the link below and complete a quiz. This is a short assessment to check your understanding of our previous maths unit (area, perimeter and volume). Please answer all of the questions carefully - make sure you have a pen and paper handy as you'll need to do some calculations. These problems are challenging so please take your time to apply all that you have learned over the last two weeks. Do your best, that is all we can ask!

Only attempt this quiz once. Make sure you submit your answers.

Once you have completed the quiz, you can start today's lesson. Have a look at the Discover problem and the different methods you can use on the Share document below.

Challenge

Think Together

Now have a go at the independent tasks - They should all be correct now. Make sure you all do Practice 1 & 2 but I'd love you to push yourself to do Practice 3 too!

When you have finished, remember to use TTRS and practise your times tables for your country or county on your times tables trek. Don't forget that you are challenging the other classes!
