https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button work through the division section

This week we will finish revisiting previous units. The last areas to focus on are division and fractions. You need to be able to divide by 2, 5 & 10 by the end of Year 2 and be able to find a half, a third, a quarter, two quarters and three quarters of a number.

Complete as many as you need until you are confident with them. Remember if you are not sure draw a bar model to help you work it out.

Biggest number at top

Remember the number of boxes at the bottom shows us how many we are dividing by. This bar model would show us dividing by 2.

The Ichthyosaur was found on Charmouth beach in Dorset. Can you draw a picture of Charmouth beach and label it? Think about where the dinosaur might have been found, the cliffs, the beach and the sea.
