English: Everything you Need story: Complete the plot matrix for your own innovation of the story in preparation for when you start your story tomorrow. Include details of characters, settings, events and rich vocabulary. Make sure your plot flows from the beginning, through to the setback and then the learning (end). * Please also practise 5 CEW spelling words.

 

Maths: Please complete the Yr 6 SATS Additional and Subtraction worksheet attached (this is not in your pack). If you find any questions too challenging please click on the YouTube buttons, as these links will take you to a short video clip that will break down the steps to completing the question. Please use these videos to mark your work, assess your progress and develop your reasoning skills. Please complete these questions in your Maths books: Mild at least 6 questions, Spicy at least 10 and Hot at least 14. If you’re on fire attempt them all!

 

Topic: Geography Globalisation Two Week Project: Please use the knowledge organiser and the suggested key lines of enquiry to create your own Globalisation Information Pack. This could include, factsheets, annotated posters, presentations, booklets, essays, graphic organisers/concept maps of an area that has interested you. Please read through your knowledge organisers today, to help you choose an area of research for you for tomorrow. Please use the back of your English book for your plans and notes.

 

Reading: Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record. https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library-page/ Please use the link to register with Oxford Owl to enable you to use their online library. 

 

Please open your green English pack and read the first text in Reading Paper Set A. Underline any unfamiliar words and important information. Please then use a dictionary (online is fine) to find the meaning of any unknown vocabulary. Tomorrow you will be completing the questions for this text.
