Hello everyone! Hope you have all had a lovely weekend! This week’s home learning, we have looked a lot at what is on the internet. At the moment, lots of very clever people are putting things on the internet to help you with your home learning. So this week, we are going to see if we can find some things online and see if you enjoy them. Let me know how you have found this home learning as it is a little change from last week. Some things will be the same though, so keep up the good work. Remember to send examples of your work into our class email.
So here is your home learning for today.
Visit the above website. It guides you through a great lesson all about prepositions.
Use your writing books to complete the tasks (if you still have them). There is a printable sheet that you can use. If you can’t print it, write out the sentences in your book instead.
Make sure you send your work in to our class email.
In Maths today, we will be looking at another online learning provider. It is called Oak Academy. We will be thinking about non-unit fractions. The video takes you through this very nicely to help you to understand it. You will notice it is a Year 3 lesson. It is something that we have covered but not since before Christmas, so it will be good practice.
This week, our topic is ‘Extreme Earth’. Watch this video by Maddie Moate and Greg Foot. It is a brilliant video all about Volcanoes. There are several amazing ideas for home projects that you can do. The children who are still going into school this week are making some erupting volcanoes. Perhaps you’d like to give that a try? There are many amazing things for you to try.

Make sure you are staying active, doing some exercise throughout the day. You can use the Joe Wicks sessions or just enjoy a nice walk with your family.
Don’t forget to do plenty of reading at home. There is some big news coming soon about our reading at Knowle Primary School which will help you to read more at home! It’s very exciting!
See you all soon.
