Science

WALT construct and interpret food chains.

WILF

Order a simple food chain.

Identify the producer, predator and prey.

Interpret a variety of food chains.

Before you start the task for today's lesson you need to fill in the reporting sheet to end our class investigation from last week. Remember to use your recording sheet where you have put down all your observations and results from this week. Also don't forget to use your first sheet where you wrote down your prediction as you will need to use that to complete this final task today.

Reporting on our Investigation

Now during today's lesson we have been looking at food chains and the key parts of these.

Your job now is to write definitions for the three words below and then to use the pictures to make your own food chains. Remember to put in arrows in the right direction to show who eats what in the food chain.
