English:

Yesterday you started to write your report.  Today you need to complete it.

First you need to read everything you have written so far.  Are you happy with it?  Have you checked your spelling and punctuation?

Today you need to carry on with your report – then read it through carefully.

Remember to include:

  • A heading
  • Sub-headings
  • Paragraphs
  • Properly punctuated sentences
  • Correct spellings
  • Picture and captions

Now read your report to a family member.

Maths:

Today you are going to carry on learning about fractions using Bitesize.  Remember if you get stuck you can send us an email and we will do our best to help.

Topic

Yesterday you learned about the life cycle of sea turtles and today you are going to learn more about the problems that sea turtles face and why they are endangered.  This link will explain more: https://oceantoday.noaa.gov/endoceanseaturtles/

Watch this lovely animation ‘A whales Tale’ to learn more about plastic pollution:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFPoIU5iiYQ  In the film the boy makes a poster to try to persuade people to stop littering the beach with plastic pollution.  Your task is to make your own poster showing why plastic pollution in the sea is dangerous to sea turtles.  Here are some examples:

Reading:

It’s great to see so many of you reading books from myON.  Today you could read at some books about sea turtles or other marine life.

PE:

Play some sport with your family. Go for a  walk and enjoy the sunshine. As it is wild week when you go for a walk have a look around you. What wildlife do you notice? Take pictures of the different insects, flowers or types of leaves you see. Can you name the wildlife you notice?
