Phonics:

Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons are on YouTube for children to watch at home from 9:30am and will be available for 24 hours.  All films will be in separate categories on the YouTube channel.

I would suggest that you follow this link to review set 1 sound as your child will know these really well now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see).

Note; Keep asking your child to tell you the set 2 and 3 sounds in their home learning packs so that you know which sounds to practise.

you can also play some fun games here;https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/

English:

Today we are going to imagine that we can also jump into a painting, just like Katie. You might like to use this painting or you can choose one of your own.

 Imagine that you are visiting an art gallery and suddenly you realise that you can jump into one of the paintings on the wall.

Plan your adventure story in ten steps (you might like to use the example below). Add some key words to your plan that will help you to write your adventure story tomorrow. Once you have planned it, tell your story to an adult and make any changes to your plan that might improve it.

Maths:

Continue to practise your 2, 3, 5 & 10 Times Tables. If you know you need to learn different times tables to enable you to fly from your country in the times tables trek, then I would continue practising those. Remember there are lots of games online you can use to help you. www.topmarks.com is great for this!

Warm up;

Today we will revisit multiplication problems.
