Good morning everyone,
See below for your learning today.
Mr B 😊
Today, you are going to be a ghost! Like ‘Nearly Headless Nick’ who lives at Hogwarts. What sneaky tricks and mischief would you get up to? Where would you go if you could fly and float through walls? Anything is possible!
See below for your writing prompt.
Today you will extend your understanding of rounding by looking at 6 digit numbers and how we round them to the nearest 10,100,1000, 10,000 and 100,000. Watch the videos below and then have a go at the worksheets.

In the top corner of your rapid recall whiteboard, you will have a space to write your number.
Range 10-20: 10
Range 30-60: 39
Range 350-450: 382
Range 30-99: 39
The world of Harry Potter is full of weird, wonderful and amazing magical objects. Those of you that have read the books and watched the films will know lots of these already. If you don’t, watch the video below. Once you’ve done that, can you invent your own magical item? On a piece of paper or in your book, draw a picture of your object, give it a name, annotate the different parts of it and write a short paragraph describing what it does.
Reading: Please do your daily reading and record it in your reading record.
Please practise your spellings daily. These lists are on our class page. You can practise the Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and the Year 5/6 spelling lists. You all know which spellings you should be practising anyway.
