Today we are learning all about the continent Asia. Our key question for today's lesson is - How is Asia different to Europe?
First, lets recap our previous learning. We have recently learnt about the location of the seven continents , the five oceans and explored the continent Europe. Remind yourselves by looking at our graphic organiser.
Look at the slides below about Asia's population, climate, landmarks, food and animals.
When you are looking at the slides below you will notice there are a few videos for you to watch. The links for these videos are below.
Activity
Annotate a map of Asia with some key facts about the continent. Remember to keep referring to the continents population, climate, landmarks, food and animals.
Alternatively, you could choose one of the landmarks we have learnt about and find some more information out about it.
Challenge: Write a couple of sentences about how Asia and Europe are different.
