Rainforest Animal Adaptations

First let’s recap the layers of the rainforest and check out some animals and plants found in the rainforest:

Your Independent Learning Task – individual poster

You will have to research the following points into your book. Your poster can be nice and colourful but it needs to have the below information.

Challenge

  1. Define what the word adaptation means.
  2. Write a list of animals that live in the tropical rainforest.
  3. Pick any 2 animals and explain how their adaptations help them to live in the rainforest.
  4. Using what you have just learnt/researched, pick certain adaptations to create your own animal that would be well adapted to living in the rainforest. Make sure you explain your choices.
