https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see).
Note; Keep asking your child to tell you the set 2 and 3 sounds in their home learning packs so that you know which sounds to practise.
Today we are going to look at the paint of The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh.
Imagine that you are an art critic an write a description of the painting using interesting adjectives. Tell us what you like and don't like about about the painting. Justify your opinions using conjunctions (and, but, because, so).
Think carefully about what you can see in the painting. Have you noticed anything unusual? What mood was the artist trying to capture? Where might this have been painted from? Was this a special place for the artist? What colours have been used and why?
Across the whole week children will be creating their own scrapbook about different famous artists. You can explore many artists and create your own masterpieces here;
Today we are going to learn about Vincent Van Gogh and try his artwork.
Choose a piece of his artwork to recreate and create fact file about his achievements.
We would like you to practise your weekly spellings in our fancy handwriting style. Please have a look at the document attached to show you the joins.
