Tuesday 9th June

Phonics:

Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons are on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home.

I would suggest that you follow this link to review set 1 sound as your child will know these really well now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see).   Then, watch the set 2 sound lessons at 10am and 10:15.

Note; If you ask your child to read the set 2 sounds in your home learning pack and they know the set 2 sounds really well, move onto watching set 3.

Storytelling;

Today we will continue to practise writing CVC words and simple sentences. Use your Fred-talk and Fred-fingers to help you hear and write the sounds in the words.

Complete the sentence;

Now write your own sentences;

First, shout it out;

Circle the number 16 and jump back 1. What number do you land on?

Talking Challenge;

Look at the pictures of weddings in China and England below and discuss;

What is the same and what is different?

It is different because _____________________
