English: Today you need to make your own treasure map and write some instructions (directions) to help your fellow pirates find the treasure.

First, draw your own treasure map like the one below. Be as creative as you want to be. Where are you going to hide your treasure? On as island, in your house, at school, these are just some ideas, choose your own!

 

Then write some instructions to help your fellow pirates find the treasure. Make sure your directions are in the correct order, with a capital letter and a full stop. Challenge yourself to add some interesting adjectives (describing words). 

For example:

1. Walk across the sandy beach.

2. Jump over the sparkling river. 

3. Climb the wooden gate into the dark forest. 

4. Look under the tall tree to find the X.

5. Dig for the treasure.

 

 

Maths: Practise counting backwards in 1s from 100 to 0.
