Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons are on YouTube for children to watch at home from 9:30am and will be available for 24 hours. All films will be in separate categories on the YouTube channel; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ
I would suggest that you follow this link to review set 1 sound as your child will know these really well now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBzNnSSxds (turn off the sound so your child can say what they see).
Note; Keep asking your child to tell you the set 2 and 3 sounds in their home learning packs so that you know which sounds to practise.

Today are going to think about this question;
What does a plant need to grow?
Watch the video clip below and take the quiz; https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zpxnyrd/articles/zxxsyrd
In your books, write a list of what a plant needs to grow. Remember to use your Fred-talk and Fred-fingers to help you with spellings.
Today you are going to use your addition skills to solve the word problems below. Ask an adult to help you read the questions if you find this tricky, but the pictures should help you to solve the addition independently if you can. Don’t forget you can always use objects too.
Choose your level of challenge;
Topic: Pick a challenge from the home learning grid.
Remember you can also access your myON account using your AR reading login; www.myon.co.uk
Would you rather be tiny like a mouse or tall like a giraffe? Explain why.
