Wednesday 25th March
Hello Foxes! I hope you’re all ok and looking forward to Wednesday’s schoolwork in your pyjamas! Here is your work for today! Once you’ve done it, I’d love to see what you’ve done. Send some photos or files of your work to this email address:
Make sure you get a grown-up to help you with that bit!
Some of you will need to carry on with your ‘Wooden Horse of Troy’ stories, finishing them off and checking for any mistakes. Remember to check you have included adjectives, fronted adverbials, paragraphs and speech.
When you have finished, read your story to a member of your family.
If you have finished your story, you can create a front cover. Use a whole page in your book.
In your best ‘big’ writing or ‘bubble’ writing, write title of your story and the author (yourself – of course). Then draw an amazing eye-catching picture. Look at the front covers of other books - to help.
EXT: On the next page, write a blurb to go on the back of the book – to encourage your reader to read your story. Look at the blurb on your reading book to get an idea of how to do this.
Propeller Maths today.
You can use your propeller Maths sheets and whiteboard pens
Choose one of these numbers to work with today:
Medium Spice: 62
Spicy Hot: 78
Once you’ve completed it, click on this link and have a go at one of these games. You can come back and play them at any time.
Hopefully yesterday, you taught someone in your family, everything you had learned about ancient Greece. Well, today you are going to test them, to see if they have remembered everything. So, create 5 to 10 fiendishly tricky questions for them to answer. You will need to write the answers to the questions as well. Use the BBC bitesize website to help: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z87tn39/articles/zxytpv4
Let us know how they got on.
