Good morning everyone!
We hope you enjoyed designing the packaging for your food choice yesterday. Today you are going to find out what people eat in different places around the world. We would like to see how you are getting on, so remember you can send us your work on our class email addresses below:

Recap some of the clips about food travelling from its origin to final destination that we looked at on Monday.
Choose a different food this time, and then write a diary/monologue about its journey… try to make it as emotive as you can. I want to feel what a pea or a carrot thinks and feels!
There we were, being blown about in the wind, feeling fresh and free with my brothers and sisters growing next to me in my pod, rocking side to side. What was that? A rumble in the ground beneath us? Again… it is getting closer! Oh no, what is that monster?! It’s big metal teeth, clawing, crunching, munching up the ground…
Today you will be practising more arithmetic questions. If you find any difficult have a look at the video clips at the bottom of the page to help you.
Now use your arithmetic skills to try these mastery challenges
Don’t forget to keep practising your times tables on TTRS.
Food around the world. What do people eat around the world? Look below to find out! Can you do a poster? Split the page into four and write a different country in each box. Draw and label the typical foods from each country.
