Welcome to the Anne Frank class!
This year we have named our classes based on inspirational people from around the world and from throughout history. I chose Anne Frank because she was so brave and courageous and this is a great example of the qualities that we should have.
We are a year 4 class this year and children are encouraged to strive to achieve their goals and try their best in all areas of school life. This year I, Miss Hancock, will be your teacher and Miss Barr is our amazing teaching assistant.
We have three topics this year:
Autumn - Romans
Spring- Vikings and Anglo-Saxons
Summer - Where is the water?
As most of you know already, I love to have a great link and relationship with all children and their families, so please feel free to contact me whenever you need to and I will always help however I can. We will be continuing our class emails and our email address is:
We are so looking forward to the amazing year we are going to have!
Our learning for the Summer term is 'Where is the water?'
This is going to give children opportunity to learn so much geographical knowledge. They will be thinking about rivers and their key parts and water cycles and how these are both important. They will also look at climate zones and biomes.
