At this school we have a 'open door' policy to parents and we feel that if any parent does have a concern he or she should feel free to contact a member of staff or Mr Norris, Headteacher, to discuss any matters. It is usually beneficial if an appointment is made and brief details given before the meeting.

''EDUCATION REFORM ACT:
COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM
AND RELATED MATTERS''
The following procedure shall apply to complaints made under Section 23 of the Education Reform Act 1988 on or after 1st September 1989.
''Where a parent or any other person has a complaint relating to the curricular responsibility of the Local Education Authority or the Governing Body of a county voluntary or maintained special school, that complaint should be addressed initially to the Headteacher of the school and attempts should be made to resolve the issue informally."
